Getting Started

To begin using Virtual Time+Expense, select the type of user you will be:

  1. Admin - setting up data
  2. Employee or Consultant - submitting time and expense
  3. Manager - approving time and expense
  4. Customer or Vendor - viewing your companies timecards, invoices or bills
  5. Accountant - processing time and expense, invoicing customers, paying employees

Logging In

When you log in to Virtual Time+Expense, there is a Navigation Bar at the top of the web page with buttons that will take you to each area within the product.  These buttons change based on what permission.  When you first log in, you are taken to the default area based on what you are allowed to do.  The default for employees is the Calendar area to enter timecards; for managers it is the Approvals area for approving time and expense; for accounting personnel it is the Review area for processing time and expense for invoicing and payroll.

For security, remember to log out of the system when you are done (and tell your employees this as well).

If you forget your password and have an email address in Virtual Time+Expense, you can request your password from the login screen by entering your User Name and clicking the "Forget Your Password?" link.
